Quinn J. Grover is a Canadian indie author with a feral imagination and an undying love for emotionally intense stories full of grit, grief, magic, and mouthy girls who refuse to stay down—and occasionally set things on fire.
She lives in Alberta with her husband (Chaos Manager, nerdy soulmate, best friend) and their shepherd-mix Gambit, who is 15% Great Pyrenees, 85% majestic chaos, and currently asleep on someone's leg--with strong, grumbled opinions if his pillow moves.
When she’s not building layered magic systems or reworking trauma arcs at 2am, Quinn can usually be found hoarding candles, adding to her TBR pile, whispering backstory into the void, or justifying why “just one more chapter” is a reasonable excuse for missing bedtime by three hours.
She doesn't drink caffeine--mostly because when it mixes with her ADHD meds, she starts talking like a squirrel on speed. So yes, she wrote a 290K word book fueled entirely by spite, vibes, puppy cuddles, and snacks.
Her debut novel, Sparks & Shadows, is the first in The Awakened Flame series—a slow-burn, trauma-informed urban fantasy about sacred magic, found family, and fighting like hell to survive the story you were never meant to be in.
