Refund policy
At Mythic Manuscripts, every product is thoughtfully designed, curated, and packaged with care. Because our items are limited-edition, handmade, or customized, we have a strict policy on returns, refunds, and replacements. Please review this policy carefully before completing your purchase.
Returns
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns at this time.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only considered under the following conditions:
- Damaged or Defective Products: If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery at mythicmanuscripts.team@gmail.com. Include your order number and clear photos of the product and packaging.
Once verified, a refund or replacement will be issued at our discretion. - Incorrect Orders: If you receive the wrong item, notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will correct the mistake promptly with either a replacement or refund.
Refunds will not be provided for:
- Change of mind or buyer’s remorse
- Preference regarding book titles, scents, or included items in mystery boxes
- Lost packages due to incorrect shipping details provided by the customer
- Minor variations typical of handmade items (e.g., texture, colour, or finish differences)
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve issued the refund, please contact us at mythicmanuscripts.team@gmail.com.
Replacements
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund.
To qualify for a replacement:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
- Provide your order number, photos, and a brief description of the issue.
Conditions:
- Replacements are subject to product availability. If the original item is unavailable, we may provide a comparable item or store credit.
- Damage resulting from misuse or mishandling is not eligible.
- For limited-edition boxes or mystery products, replacements will feature similar or equivalent items of equal value.
Subscription Skips & Cancellations
Mythic Manuscripts offers subscription options for select collections and book boxes. Subscribers can skip or cancel upcoming renewals under the following conditions:
- Skip Window: You may skip a renewal up to 7 days before your next billing date. After this window closes, the order is confirmed and will be processed as scheduled.
- Cancellation Window: You may cancel your subscription at least 10 days before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the upcoming box.
- Skips and cancellations made after the billing charge has been processed will apply to future boxes only and will not be refunded retroactively.
- Subscription cancellations can be made directly through your customer account or by contacting us at mythicmanuscripts.team@gmail.com.
Lost or Stolen Packages
If a package is marked delivered by the carrier but not received, please contact the carrier directly.
Mythic Manuscripts is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once marked as delivered.
Limited-Edition & Mystery Products
Items such as subscription boxes, “Blind Date with a Book”, and mystery bundles are curated by theme. The contents are a surprise and vary by box.
Refunds or replacements will not be issued based on personal preference for titles, genres, or merchandise included.
